If you were to ask Elyse what she wanted to be when she grew up, she would have answered without missing a beat: an Oscar’s Red Carpet correspondent for E! News! Since she doesn’t live in L.A. and the only celebrities she’s ever met are Eric Andre and the original George Washington in Lin Manuel-Miranda’s “Hamilton,” Christopher Jackson, podcasting about movies is the next best thing!
When Elyse isn’t at a movie theatre for the third time this week, she can be found wandering the fiction aisles at Barnes and Noble or posted up in front of her home television cheering on her beloved Boston Celtics with her Corgi, Albus and two felines, Lola and Otto.
And to the man behind the magic, Elyse’s husband, Sam. Thank you for being her biggest supporter and showing her that her dreams aren’t too big. She has so much more that she wants to thank you for but she’s saving it for her Oscars acceptance speech.
David here! I never thought I'd start a podcast, let alone about movies. My love has been with music most of my life, playing trumpet since I was in middle school, singing barbershop music for the last 10 years, and getting a degree in music education. The teaching life was not for me though so here I am, just putting a microphone in front of my face and seeing what happens!
